Renewed Hope Education & Therapy was started to provide an integrative approach to academic and social-emotional learning which is uncommon in Singapore. Our holistic and integrative approach has helped students to achieve breakthroughs in academic and social-emotional learning. We continue to strive for excellence by improving the efficacy and cost-efficiency of our programmes. Founded on Christian values, we seek to bring renewed hope to our students and their families.

Our Approach

Learning is a complex process that requires the coordination of foundational, processing and conceptual skills. Our programmes help students to develop these skills which are essential for success and breakthroughs in academic and social-emotional learning.

1) Foundational Level

​We develop receptive and resilient learners through the use of DIR Floortime, Social Thinking and other research-based methods. We support students in:

  • Behavioural Management

  • Resilience (Growth Mindset)​

2) Processing Level

We teach students to process information efficiently using multisensory and research-based methods, such as the Orton-Gillingham approach. We work on:

 

  • Auditory Processing

  • ​Visual Processing

  • ​Visuo-Motor Processing
  • Memory & Processing Speed

3) Conceptual Level

Beyond rote memory, we support students in conceptual thinking and academic understanding through:

  • Verbal Concepts

    • Thinking with language 

  • Non-Verbal Concepts

    • Thinking with images and non-verbal social cues​

  • Executive Functions

    • Thinking with strategies
